The down payment you have made as a customer cannot be reclaimed in the event of a cancellation or foreclosure. However, the deposit can be used for the next appointment, if the appointment is rescheduled or canceled at least 72 hours in advance.

Do you want to remove the Gelcolor yourself? Then we recommend that you purchase a home kit for your home. It contains all the products you need to remove the Gelcolor without damaging your own nails. Do not pull off the Gelcolor, this will damage your nails for a long time.

Remember that professional nail technicians are trained to safely remove Gelcolor. If you're unsure of your skills, consider a visit to LAK! nail salon. However, with these do's and don'ts you will be well on your way to removing Gelcolor at home without damaging your natural nails.

Do's for removing Gelcolor yourself:

1. Patience is a magic word: Take your time for the process. Do not force the gel off your nails as this may cause damage.


2. Gather supplies: Have acetone, cotton balls, aluminum foil, a file, and a cuticle stick handy.
3. 
   Soak and wrap: Soak the cotton balls in acetone, place them on your nails and wrap each nail with aluminum foil. Let this sit for about 15-20 minutes.


4. File gently: After soaking, the gel should be soft. Use a file to gently file off any remaining gel. Do this gently so as not to damage the natural nail.

Don'ts for removing Gelcolor yourself:

Do not pull or peel: Do not pull the gel off your nails, as tempting as it may be. This can lead to thin and damaged nails.

Avoid over-filing: Over-filing can damage the natural nail plate. Be patient and careful.

Do not use harsh means: Avoid using hard objects, such as metal instruments, to remove the gel. This can damage the nail structure.

Skip the soak: Skipping the acetone soak can lead to hard-to-remove gel and unnecessary damage to your nails

We do not recommend removing the BIAB (Builder in a Bottle) yourself. Even though the BIAB is a soak off product, its thickness and sturdiness make it difficult to remove the BIAB yourself without damaging it.

We do not remove Gelcolor / BIAB from another salon. Each brand / salon has its method and products to remove the gel. In practice we notice that it is difficult to get it off and the nails under the gel are often damaged.

The guarantee means that if one of these treatments is not properly applied (chipping, loosening), we will repair it free of charge. For other repairs we ask for a starting price of € 5.00.
